Bush regrets Iraqi WMD failure:
Outgoing US President George Bush has said his biggest regret is the failure of intelligence over Iraqi weapons.
In a wide-ranging TV interview, he declined to say whether he would have decided to invade Iraq if he had known it had no weapons of mass destruction.
The outgoing president told ABC television: “The biggest regret of all the presidency has to have been the intelligence failure in Iraq.”
He added: “I wish the intelligence had been different.”

Dude, it wouldn’t have become a joke had it the “realization” part! He knew it and they knew it from day one. Now, he is not saying so to absolve his (and their) sins and purify his soul, that was no sin at all.
What he regrets in reality, is the fact that he is the most unpopular US presidents of all times… he is trying to salvage his and his father’s dignity.
Bush Jr: Dad, I’m sorry.
Bush Sr: I knew, you would never amount to nothing.
Bush Jr: I’m sorry… oh I am such a disgrace to the Bush legacy.
Did Bush Sr ever said “he regreted” anything?
Did Regan ever said “he regreted” anything?
Did Clinton ever said “he regreted” anything (except to his wife)?

“jokest” is not a word. Most people would probably dismiss that as an unnecessary pedantic remark but I think being able to write well and being careful with language, something that I find is often missing from Nepali bloggers, is a prerequisite to being taken seriously.
